Q. Will you help me get my provisional driving licence?
A. Yes, Enterprise will arrange everything on your behalf including your medical examination, your application forms for your driving licence, your study material for theory test and will book your theory test when you are ready at your local test centre.

Q. Do you offer one-to-one tuition?
A. Enterprise only teaches on a one-to-one basis ensuring you receive undivided attention at all times.

Q Are your training vehicles similar to those I need to drive when I get a job?
A. Yes, both the rigid and articulated vehicles have boxes instead of flatbacks – and the articulated vehicles have full 40 foot trailers attached.

Q. Can you assist in me in finding employment?
A. Enterprise is always happy to arrange interviews for newly qualified drivers with both driving agencies and local companies that have driver vacancies.

Q. Are your driving instructors registered with the Driving Standards Agency?
A. Yes, our Driving Instructors are registered with the Driving Standards Agency ensuring you quality training at all times.

Q. Are your vehicles easy to drive?
A. Our fleet of modern training vehicles are very easy to drive ensuring you have the best opportunity of passing the driving test first time. Some driving schools operate much older ex-general haulage vehicles that may be difficult to drive which could result in you requiring more time on training (more money) and more attempts at your driving test!

Q. Do you offer training at weekends or must I take time off from work?
A. Training can be during the week, mornings, evenings, or at weekends at no extra cost.

Q. Some companies say I must train for seven or even eight hours a day, is this advisable?
A. Enterprise strongly advises against training over four hours a day. When you are training you will learn more quickly in practical slots of four hours. If you try to learn in longer periods you will‘overload on information’ become tired, start to make mistakes, become easily distracted and will not focus on what is important. We advise you learn by proven teaching methods and not in overly long periods just because it makes it easier for the driving school!!!

Q. Do you offer other driver related training courses?
A. Enterprise offers the best value ADR (licence to carry hazardous goods) and CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) courses in the country. We also offer Fork Lift Truck and Lorry Mounted Crane Courses

Q. Where will I practice my manoeuvring exercises?
A. Enterprise has its own clearly marked out concrete manoeuvring areas set up like the DSA test centre.

Q. What is the pass rate?
A. All driving schools will tell you different percentages. The truth is that this information is not collated, confirmed or distributed by any official Government body so they could tell you anything. In reality you could fail your driving test because you have been taught incorrectly by non DSA registered Driving Instructors, because the test vehicle was inadequate and difficult for a learner driver to control or because you simply made a mistake whilst driving. Bearing this in mind, you will have a better chance of a first time pass at Enterprise than any other training organisation.

Q. What happens if I have any questions once I have passed my test, and driving for a living?
A. You are never alone and should not struggle. If you are given a vehicle and are unsure how to operate it, whether it is an unfamiliar gearbox, tail lift, power take off, E.P.S.,etc. call us and we will assist you through your learning even when you have finished your training.

If you have any other questions on your training please feel happy to contact us at anytime - we want to help you.
