Lorry mounted cranes, such as HIAB and Atlas, and their uses vary greatly.

To enable the operator to understand the properties of these cranes, Enterprise LGV Tuition run 1 day training consisting of both classroom based and practical training.

Training will cover types of cranes, sizes, lifting capacities and attachments.

Experienced instructors teach to the standards of The Health & Safety Executive Approved Codes Of Practice.

Practical training is delivered on a 40' trailer with an Atlas A3600 centre mounted brick grab. Experience is gained in handling a variety of materials including pallets, blocks, aggregate bags and timber. Slinging techniques are also demonstrated.

The course is a full day, with a maximum candidate:instructor ratio of 4:1 to ensure all candidates receive adequate time on the practical exercises.

Upon successful completion of the course the candidate will be issued with a certificate and laminated identity badge.
