Enterprise has excellent training facilities including its own full size off road reversing and maneuvering area. We can design a training programme to suit, whether you require a full weeks course or wish to book at an hour at a time.
All training is conducted using our twin wheel plant trailer that is plated with a MAM of 2.2 tones.
The driving test will be taken at a Large Goods Vehicle Testing Station. The test consists of general driving abilities similar to the category B (car only) driving test but with extra maneuvering and reversing exercises.
You will need to demonstrate you ability to uncouple and recouple the trailer competently and safely and the end of the test.
The driving test will last for about 60 minutes.
Personal Training Options
Candidates can learn driving our modern double cab pick up, which is ideally suited to towing a large trailer. However, we will train you in your own vehicle if you wish at a reduced hourly rate.
Please note that if you wish to provide your own vehicle it must be suitable to tow a large trailer, be legal and roadworthy and be fitted with a passenger seatbelt. A valid certificate of insurance will also be required.
Please inform us of your previous driving experience. We will be happy to offer a free driving assessment if you wish.
