The Safe and Fuel Efficient Driving (SAFED) standard has been designed to improve the safe and fuel efficient driving techniques of large goods vehicles drivers.

The training programme has been developed specifically to enable both vehicle operators and selected training providers such as Enterprise LGV Tuition to implement a high standard of driver training to the Road Transport Industry.

It provides training and further development for existing LGV Drivers through professional instruction relating to vehicle and road craft.

Training is both classroom based and 'on the road' using one of our specially converted training vehicles with Fuel Flow Monitoring Computers fitted.

Training is typically one day, on a strict 2:1 trainee/Instructor ratio.
